Work Week Word-Tuesday’s Word-”Struggle Not”
Struggle Not
Psalms 37:25
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
I was listening to a song by former Sunday’s Best winner LeAndria Johnson entitled “Struggle Not,” a very powerful song. As I was listening to the song, my mind fell on this scripture and it made me want to encourage someone reading this. No matter what the problem may be, what you are going through, what your lying eyes may see, God is there for you. You will not stay in this place, it is only a test; hold on you will struggle not.
The psalmnist has stated that in his lifetime, he has not seen the righteous lack. Righteous does not me the pure (we wouldn’t make it), guilt-less (all would be gone), blameless (nope…not us); but it means in right standing. We ALL have sinned and therefore, we are not perfect, but we can be made righteous through God, by His son Jesus. Keep your head up, He is on your side. You will struggle not.
The words of the song state, “Struggle not for God has blessed you.” You are placed in your position for a blessing. Some of you may not feel that way right now, but I come to speak life in your situation. The road is not easy; you will have some times where you feel you can’t make it. But even in those times, God will not let you down. The struggle is not yours; you are blessed. They can’t understand that your life has a purpose. They don’t know how you are going to make it, but don’t worry about it you are blessed. They may laugh at you and call you everything BUT a child of God, but you are blessed. So let them do what they want it’s not going to happen. You are blessed and you will struggle not.
