LRachelle’s BET Sunday Best Reviews on LiveMyGospel

LiveMyGospel is excited to announce the addition of LRachelle to our roster of contributing writers.  Besides inspirational writing, she will be covering the BET Sunday Best program starting July 8, 2012.  We are delighted to share a little bit about LRachelle’s background with our readers:

She was born in the Longhorn State of Texas and is currently residing in South Carolina.  She has been married for 16 years and her husband is a Pastor and minister at a local church in city where she resides.  LRachelle proudly shares that she is the mother of SEVEN (7) children.  She passionately expresses that all of her  children are a delight and inspiration in her life and each are musically inclined.  

She grew up in a military family (her father and mother are retired military) — which afforded her the opportunity to travel all over the United States and Europe.  Having traveled to so many places and meeting people from different cultures provides her a wider perspective and appreciation for differing viewpoints and positions.

LRachelle has been working in music ministry since the tender age of five (5) years.  But it has always been her goal, as a minister of music, not to perform or entertain but to minister through song.  She states that it’s really difficult to explain to anyone how important a role music is in her life.   But she clearly conveys to everyone that if she only had one breathe left, it would be used to sing a song of praise to God.  “In many instances, that has been the case. I was born with a lung disease. Therefore, my breath was and still is limited.” 

And, delightedly the lady is a poet, songwriter, and author — always  excited and very passionate about what she does whether it be writing a story, ministering through song, songwriting or raising her children.  However, ultimately she is driven by her desire to please God: “He calls me and I AM compelled to answer.”
