Artist Spotlight: Dayna Caddell, Keesha Rainey, Melody Laure

Dayna Caddell is the co-writer on “Every Prayer” featuring Israel Houghton and Mary Mary, and she was the co-writer for “Power of the Cross” for Ricardo Sanchez.   The Grammy and Dove Award nominated singer/songwriter is ready to step in front of the mic and let the world know how crazy she is for the Lord.

2012, is looking to be very bright for Caddell, as her new single “Crazy” is now available (iTunes), which was produced by up coming producer Vann Clayton and Warryn Campbell.  In a time where the word “crazy” means something negative, Caddell explains that the “Crazy” she sings about is happy, joyous, edgy, and inspiring.  Her  feel good debut studio album Overjoyed will be released this summer.

Keesha Rainey broke onto the gospel music scene with her hit single, “Breakthrough.”  She is now poised to leave her mark on the industry with a sound and style all her own.    Her album Breakthrough has no barriers; it crosses over many genres with sounds influenced by rock, R&B, jazz, neo soul, and funk.   It is a spiritual melting pot intertwined with the gospel — which has no limitations and will surely reach the masses.  2012, has been good to Keesha, she was recently featured on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel, and once again she has received her third nomination from The Gospel Music City Awards for “Artist of the Year.”

Melody Laure, a new singer/songwriter is looking to make her presence known in the contemporary gospel world.  Coming from Boston, Massachusetts she is looking to share her dream of God’s love (through song) with the world.

Alongside the release of her debut single God Is in Control (available on itunes now); another long time dream of hers came to fruition when she launched her own Production and Publishing company (Lanibelle Music).  With many other songs underway, Melody is planning on releasing her first album sometime this year.
