Donnie McClurkin – I Will Trust You Lord

Donnie McClurkin ministers to us through song.  He simply asks “Anyone here put your trust in the Lord only?  Anybody here trust the Lord with all your heart?  The song just says this:  I know the thing is easy when everything is going well.  But Can you still believe in me when your life’s a living hell.  And, when all the things around you seem to quickly fade away, there’s just one thing I really want to know.  I can hear the lord say.  Will you let go and stand on my word? Against all odds will you believe what I have said?” I really needed to hear this selection at this very moment because it reminds me to trust right now!  To have faith through it all.  Let me count the times that I have been delivered through what seemed like my darkest hours over and over again:  (√) when I didn’t have food to eat (√ ) when my child was sick (√) when my mother was sick (√) when I needed a job (√) when my heart was broken and didn’t think it would ever heal — but through it all I will trust you Lord.  Today our challenge is to find that little bit of light in your heart to trust the Lord.
