James Bignon – PEaCe Be Still
If you’ve never been graced with a selection from James Bignon, you should PAUSE and take a listen to this selection — Peace Be Still. Bignon and his choir shine through and through on this tribute to the late Reverend James Cleveland. Peace Be Still is such a powerful song in itself: “The winds and the waves shall obey thy will. all you’ve got to say is Peace Be Still.” James Bignon was born an only child in Savannah, GA, and raised in New York City. He came from a large family of singers, pianists, organists, and preachers. He started singing in church at the age of five and was already writing his own material at 11.
