BET Sunday Best Season 4 – Top 2 Contestants

BET Sunday Best Gospel competition Episode 8 resulted in the elimination of Michael Pugh — who was the “Last Man Standing.”  Many believe that BET Sunday Best Judges made a big mistake in eliminating Mr. Pugh.  If you check Sunday Best Facebook page you will find some examples of the dismay expressed by many fans.  Some of the concerns expressed were that the judging was bias, that the category of songs (i.e., wedding songs, and Broadway songs) were not reflective of what Gospel music is about, that the Judges are more favorable to women and Gospel music reflective of jazz and R&B.  However, there were many who came to the defense of the selection of the Top 2 Contestants.  Many fans expressed discontent to the point of vowing a pledge to never watch BET Sunday Best again, to never buy a Mary Mary CD again. America will vote to decide the fate of the two remaining (2)contestants competing on August 28, 2011 episode:
