Don’t Forget The Family Prayer – Brooklyn Allstars

I Gospel Video Featuring the Brooklyn Allstars has so so much wisdom, power, and guidance in this simple song.  It speaks of a man who tells the story that every Sunday morning his family used to have a “Family Prayer.” Apparently, before leaving home to go out into the world, his mother sort of admonished him and advised him — “Don’t Forget The Family Prayer.” She assured him that “Jesus loves to meet you there.”

The vocalist goes on and explains to us the power of prayer.  The Brooklyn Allstars also blessed us with a rendition of “Did You Stop to Pray” this morning.   In this fast paced world, it’s easy to dismiss taking the time to pray.  As you prepare to leave your home today, take a moment to think about the simple words of these two songs. Pray without ceasing throughout your day. God is Good — All the Time.  Peace and Blessings.
