The most popular event in the Southeastern region is the Dillard University Christmas Concert that annually features a vocal artist. Franklin IV’s great-aunt, aunt and father received that honor. In 2003, Franklin IV was chosen as a featured vocalist to perform that same Bass aria “But Whom May Abide” his father performed throughout the eighties.
